BIALL Doubles It's Commitment To BAILII!

At the AGM (which took place at BIALL 2012) the membership voted to increase the amount given to BAILII to £10,000 from June 2013. We previously made a 3 year commitment to pay £5,000 from June 2010 to June 2012 so the £10,000 will run from June 2013 to June 2015.

Jules Winterton, on behalf of the trustees, clearly agrees telling us:
"Your news about funding for BAILII is wonderful and extremely welcome. The support by BIALL is very valued by all the trustees of BAILII and I am particularly glad that we as law librarians are ‘at the table’ as a stakeholder in BAILII. The increase is very generous and much appreciated. I will tell the Trustees about it right now! Please do pass my thanks and the thanks of BAILII to the Council and, if there is a way, to the membership."
